Nika: What is your favorite recipe for the perfect Sugar Girls?

C: Chocolate coulant, it's a bomb!

V: Red Candy Apples

C: cover chocolate (dark), sugar, butter, flour & eggs.

V: apples, wooden sticks, white sugar, light corn syrup, cinnamon, red food coloring.

C: always

C: caramel tea

C&V: No!

C: The perfect place to do so in Madrid is ALICE IN WONDERLAND.

Nika: What is your style advice to biker dykes? 

C: Milkmaid braids! 

V: Please take at least a pretty basket for your mascota along, woman! (Mascota=pet)

Nika: Do you own a sewing machine?

C: I prefer cross stitch.

V: Si. A hello kitty sewing machine

Nika: Do you like to manufacture your own clothes or accessories, like a good girl should?

C: Accessories, sí, but I am not so good sewing my own clothing.

V: Yes I make purses and necessaries.

Like for all our work we get inspiration from tales, toy and past time memories.

Nika: Do you like fluffy animals or do you prefer dolls? Please specify.

C: Fluffy animals are cool! My favorites are ositos. Baby bears. I also love vintage Japanese posse dolls.

V: I love Fluffy animals, especially kitties and bunnies.

Nika: What do you wear when you cuddle up on the sofa at night?

C: Warm pajamas! It gets lousy cold in Madrid

Nika: If you made a collage of your favorite accessories, what items would you chose? And what materials would you use?

C: a pink pearl necklace, a French cameo brooch & earrings. Materials: porcelain, pearls and gold.

V: fabric hair bows and vintage enamel brooch.

Nika: What is your favorite TV Series?

V: A Japanese anime series called "Besame Licia" (kiss me Licia) from the Manga Ai Shite Night, lovely!!!

Nika: Do you like to get dirty sometimes?

C: Yes, on rainy days!!!

V: When I play with my dog. Nika: Your Favorite little club or bar in Madrid?  

 C: I prefer cafes like "Cafe Manuela" or “Lolina Cafe"

C: Somos muy alegres! We are very joyful.

Nika: You made print designs for ZARA. Can you describe your favorite print?

V: I remember a very special design I made, hand drawn aquarelle, all in pastel tones and in the horizon appeared a girl and a rabbit. 

Nika: Does the devil wear ZARA?   V: Yes the devil definitely wears ZARA. It is the same game in all the big fashion companies that I have known..

Nika: Do you have any dark secrets?

C: I like 80s heavy metal music. My older brothers are “Heavy’s” V: I went shoplifting like Winona

Nika: What is your very favorite “tapa”?

C: Ensaladilla Rusa

V: Patatas bravas

Nika: What is your favorite quote?

C: I would use pink & eau de nil colors.

V: all in pastel tones

Nika: What is your favorite style for illustration?

C: anything of Mary Blair

V: anything of Edward Gorey. I also just published my first book of illustrations. It is called "Girls are Weird" para Blur Ediciones.

Nika: How does your favorite make up go?

C: black eyeliner, MAC red lipstick and pink blush.

V: eyeliner, fake eyelashes, pink blush and of course RED lipstick.

Nika: Your favorite sing along song?

C: “New dawn fades” by Joy Division

V: Sorry, I can´t choose only one but probably one of them is "Love will tear us apart" by Joy Division

Nika: What would the cage for your little canarybird look like?

C: white in shabby chic style.

V: an aviary made of white forge with flowers and pink birdies, muy French style.

Nika: What do you miss in Spain?

C: More tolerance for what is different. 

V: más respeto a los animales.

Nika: If you could design a school uniform for college, how would it be like?

C: I love Madeleine book by Ludwig Bemelmans uniform.

V: a Victorian school uniform like in the “Picnic at Hanging Rock” Movie

Nika: What actresses would you have liked to be in the 60´s?

C: Mia Farrow

Nika: Did you go to dancing school?

C: no but now I would have liked to.

V: no, but I danced at home all day.

C:  To draw a wall painting for a beautiful café in Madrid.

V: Walk dogs for cash in el parque de El Retiro.

 Nika: How do you like to see your perfect date dressed?

C: ME:  in a 50's vintage dress HIM:I love men in brogues! Vintage Style men. V: ME:  in a baby doll light blue dress HIM: skinny jeans, stripped cardigan, his old favorite band t-shirt & converse.

C: Antique things

What do you consider a fashion crime?

C:  Wear something that not identifies with my person, just because everyone else wears it. Horrible.

V: wear clothing 2 tallas más pequeña. 2 sizes smaller than fits!

C: I love Sherlock Holmes books!

V: I really like the Harry Potter series.

C: They love you as you are
